Network Structures
The DARC supports project services in HAMNET.CLOUD and i HAMNET.NETWORK.
Jann, DG8NGN, has now made a MeshCom server available on the INTERNET to the MeshCom community, in addition to the MeshCom server on HAMNET.
The existing gateway connections have already been migrated to these two MeshCom servers.
The dashboards can now be accessed via two links:
- HAMNET
- INTERNET
To enable this new option in the firmware, a new firmware version, v4.35v, is now available. Please load it onto the nodes and then configure them as follows, depending on your preferences and capabilities, to use either HAMNET or the INTERNET:
- hamnet.cloud for connecting via a HAMNET account
- –sethamet on
- -gateway srv DL
- hamnet.network for connecting via the Internet
- –setinet on
- -gateway srv DL
Connecting the HC and DL Servers
To ensure the exchange of MeshCom messages, the transfer filter was set identically on both servers.
The filter settings can be viewed on the Dashboard under NETWORK.
The "Filter" column indicates whether messages have been exchanged:
- ALL … all '*'
- 232* … all groups that start with 232.
Examples: 2321, 23201, etc. - 262* … all groups that start with 262.
Examples: 262, 2621, 26233, 26299, etc. - 263* … as in 262*
- 20 … DACH Group for Exchange Between DL, HB, and OE
- 2 … EUROPA Group
In addition, all DM messages are exchanged with other MeshCom servers.
